Sunzeri Construction & Development has been building premier homes throughout the greater bay area since 2007. We specialize in new construction and large-scale expansion / renovation. Our skilled craftsmen build the most unique structures and provide the finish detailing fitting of a custom estate. Our trusted project management team works closely with the Architect and Engineering team to ensure the final product is what is envisioned. Our foundational tenant is trust and transparency, leaving our clients with a sense of comfort when choosing us as their build partner.

Our Story

Ken Sunzeri's great grandfather was a prolific builder in the greater San Jose area, building some of the original homes found throughout Willow Glen, the East Foothills and beyond. Holding a close relationship with the Catholic Dioces, he constructed many of the Architecturally stunning churches scattered about the Silicon Valley.

Working in various construction jobs throughout high school and while attending college, specializing in structural framing and major interior reconfiguration and renovation. Ken realized his love and respect for all elements of Architecture and home construction. Sunzeri Construction was founded in the summer of 2007 with the goal to build Architecturally unique homes with timeless character. With that in mind, the 2008 recession hit and Bay Area construction grinded to a halt.

The next few years were spent honing the craft of being a general contractor, building everything from casitas, kitchen expansions, second story additions, and the occasional (once) complete tear out of a house that was home to 100+ cats. Eventually, the conditions were right for new construction to flourish again, and Sunzeri built its first custom home for a client in the historic Rose Garden neighborhood of San Jose.

Sunzeri Construction has grown to be one of the leading builders in the Bay Area. Our homes have become prominent fixtures in many premier communities, including: Atherton, Los Altos Hills, Menlo Park, Willow Glen, Hillsborough, San Carlos, and many other surrounding areas.
